School principals will receive professional learning, coaching support, and opportunities to collaborate with other site leaders to enhance their leadership in transforming student outcomes in their community schools.
Purpose
By engaging in this community of practice, school principals will receive professional learning, coaching support, and opportunities to collaborate with other site leaders to enhance their leadership in transforming student outcomes in their community schools.
Benefits of Participation
Participating principals will:
- Build their understanding of the community school strategy and frameworks
- Create alignment and coherence with the community schools strategy and other site goals, programs, and initiatives
- Increase their instructional leadership to center teaching and learning within the community schools strategy
- Receive leadership coaching and support from an SDCOE District Advisor
- Connect and collaborate with other community schools principals to share best practices

The Community School Principals CoP will meet regularly throughout the 2025-26 school year.
